The virtual lessons are limited to 45 minutes (school hour). For on-site training, the lesson lasts 60 minutes.

Yes, of course. I can accompany you throughout the entire learning period, from beginner to advanced, until you become a fluent German speaker.

In principle, no. A browser is required, and the ability to join a session via Zoom or Google Meet. A camera is necessary, and possibly a headset.

No, I only offer virtual lessons. Or on-site training (for companies) in the premises of the client.

In the virtual courses, it is a 1:1 course, meaning one teacher = one student. Group courses (also virtual) can include up to 5 students. On-site courses always have multiple, variable students.

Course times are agreed upon personally and set individually. This applies to both virtual courses and on-site training sessions.

No. Except when it is explicitly stated in the course description.

Individual lessons can(!) be made up. This is an individual decision and is based on exceptions without prior regular absences. On-site training sessions generally need to be canceled at least 48 hours in advance and will be rescheduled with a new appointment.

Yes, this is certainly possible. Please contact me via the trial lesson or by call (and phone) to make a request.

I work with Mollie as a payment service provider. The service provider offers many different payment options, such as direct debit, credit card, and more. Invoicing is also possible. The course starts after payment is received.

Yes, but it is necessary that we get to know each other first. You can book a free trial lesson here: Prices & Hourly Packages

If you want to book a course or package afterward, you will receive a "password". With this password, you can make the booking through my website and, as in an online shop, you will receive an invoice via the customer account afterward.

Silke Stoffel is a certified DAF/DAZ teacher by the Goethe Institute and teaches German as a native speaker at the C2 level. Silke has a C1 level in English and is also trained in Business English due to her education. Silke complements her language skills with a B2 level in French.

Yes, of course. Beginner courses in German and, building on that, also for advanced learners.

Yes, that would be great. A trial lesson (30 min.) provides the opportunity to get to know each other and allows for discussion of course times. You can book a trial lesson here: Prices & Hourly Packages

Progress is continuously documented in writing during the courses, and the achieved goal is communicated. Typically, the courses prepare students for achieving language level exams (A1, A2, B1, etc.). Silke will inform you when the respective level is sufficient to take one of the exams.

A certificate of participation can be issued upon request. Certificates can be obtained from the respective examination centers.

My students are encouraged to actively participate. My courses are not webinars but active language training and development. This means that there are tasks that are accompanied by me as a teacher, and we interact together.

A desktop/laptop computer with a camera and microphone is required. While laptops almost all come with a built-in camera/microphone as standard, a desktop computer can be upgraded. I generally do not conduct lessons on a phone or tablet.

No, the minimum age for participation in a course is 18 years.

Flexibility means that they must be planned at least one month in advance. Short-term changes should be avoided.

If larger packages are required, I ask for prior personal contact via a virtual call (trial lesson) before booking. I already offer a discount on hourly packages. I do not negotiate this. Packages not listed on my website can be requested.

In general, it is a 1:1 ratio (teacher + student). Unless it is specifically described otherwise in the course description.

The minimum age for participation is 18 years, and there is no upper age limit.

No, that is not possible. However, if it becomes clear within the first 3-4 hours that achieving the goal is not possible, we would find a solution together.

It can be rescheduled by arrangement, as long as it remains an exception.

The language skills, i.e., the current level, will be assessed by me during the free trial lesson.

No, but within the first few hours, it will be clarified whether the full package will lead to achieving the goal together.

Access is guaranteed during the course duration.

Of course. This is ensured throughout the course duration.

If I find that my initial assessment was incorrect, we can decide together to adjust the learning goal.
